Whenever I see the offering for the church building fund by brothers and sisters, it seems to me that they are really yearning to have a church of their own. For the past eighteen years, I noticed an offering of $50 every once in a while. I think the offering is given by the same person. I can tell that deep inside his/her heart, he/she loves to see the church building erected one day.
In late September, we were informed that there is a business building on 10521 W. Pico for sale. We visited the location and checked with the city. Now we have the preliminary knowledge that we can use that premises for church meetings. After much considerations, discussions, and researches, we reached an unanimous decision to pursue this property.
This 9,200 plus sq.ft. building is perfect for us at the moment. By the entrance inside the building is a granite hallway, and there are rooms of different sizes on the left side of it. There are also two large meeting areas totaling 3,500 sq.ft. on the right of the hallway. The only concern that we have is parking spaces. But fortunately enough, street parking is available all around the neighborhood as well as in front of the building during most of our meeting times.
The asking price is $3,750.000, and we are going to cut it down.
I ask you, my brothers and sisters, and those who love CBC, please pray earnestly to God and ask for His guidance and blessing if this really is His will. And pray for the Board members, so that they may have the wisdom to handle this important task and make the right decisions.
