What is Awana?

AWANA stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed", which comes from a book in the Bible called 2nd Timothy. AWANA is an international, Bible-centered children's program, where clubbers can enjoy breath-taking games and activities, sing exciting praise songs, earn prizes and awards, meet new friends and learn about God and His Word, the Bible.

Our Clubs

Truth and Training (T&T) is for 3rd graders and above. Beginning with the Start Zone booklet and continuing through the unforgettable Ultimate Adventure Series, clubbers will learn the truth of God's Word and apply it to their daily lives.

Sparks (T-cubs) is for 1st and 2nd graders. With Sparky, the friendly firefly, T-cubs will have fun learning Bible verses and other fun activities. Upon completion of the Tcub material, clubbers will progress to the T&T Club.

Cubbies is a club especially for Pre-K and kindergarten clubbers. These clubbers will not only learn simple lessons from Bible stories but will also have fun making crafts, singing and playing games!.

What is a Club Night?

A typical club night consists of Game time, Handbook and Council time, Cubbie bear time (for Cubbies only), Snack time and Music Worship time. Throughout the year, we also have special Theme Nights that everyone enjoys!

Club nights meet on Saturdays from 7:00 pm to 9:15 pm in Chinese Bible Church’s Walker Hall. Please refer to our monthly calendar for the latest updates.

Our Awana Leaders

Our AWANA club is run by a group of trained volunteers who above all, want to honor our Lord Jesus Christ and to share God's love with both you and your children. We try our best to serve you and hope that AWANA will always be a warm, safe, and fun place where your child can learn, grow, and experience the power and love of our wonderful God.
